United States Winner, 2018 VCBF Haiku Invitational

I love writing Japanese short-form poetry and cherita. My poems have been published in various print and online journals and anthologies, several of which have won awards and gained recognitions. The Bluebird's Cry, published under my own imprint Velvet Dusk Publishing, is a collection of haiku, haiga, tanka, tanka art, and tanka prose about my journey through grief and loss. If you like to read more about my poetry, here's my poetry blog ~ Blossom Rain.

Since I have a penchant for poetry, photography/digital art, and video editing, I founded Frameless Sky in December 2016, the very first haiku and tanka poetry video journal available on DVD. This is a bi-annual journal that showcases poets, artists, and musicians. If you would like to submit your poetry or share your artwork and/or music, please email me at framelesssky@gmal.com or visit the website here.

Velvet Dusk Publishing has published nine print books and one e-book, two of which are shortlisted for the 2019 Touchstone Distinguished Book Award. Currently, it is seeking to publish more chapbooks or full-length books by established or aspiring poets. The submissions guidelines may be found here.
